Ruperto Bide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Azeari in the 4th minute of play. Hugo Gamus hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Lehen in the 8th minute of play forced Sunchal's goalkeeper Baltasar Harkaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cirilo Ignazio's late challenge caught a Sunchal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cirilo Ignazio helped the player get up and apologised. Baltasar Harkaitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonel Gorbea's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute Leonel Gorbea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Harkaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Fernando Lehen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Cachiyuyo's Ruperto Bide got control of the ball when Venancio Henric tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Cachiyuyo's Fernando Lehen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baltasar Harkaitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Leonel Gorbea took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baltasar Harkaitz. Baltasar Harkaitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 42 minutes into the game, Leonel Gorbea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cachiyuyo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sunchal the free kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Leonel Gorbea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Lehen got free with Baltasar Harkaitz in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th match minute, Sunchal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Azeari to maneuver through the defense. Baltasar Harkaitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonel Gorbea's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. A collision led to Cachiyuyo getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Cirilo Ignazio hit a great ball. Sunchal's Baltasar Harkaitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Sunchal from getting a goal against them. Danilo Illan kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Cachiyuyo's Ruperto Bide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Azeari in the 64th minute of play. Venancio Henric might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ruperto Bide. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Venancio Henric ran back to his position shaking his head. Fernando Lehen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Baltasar Harkaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Vinicio Azeari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Bide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltasar Harkaitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Lehen in the 76th minute. After having played for 78 minutes, Fernando Lehen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cachiyuyo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Lehen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Gabriel Gentza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cachiyuyo's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Gentza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baltasar Harkaitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cachiyuyo's Fernando Lehen got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gabriel Gentza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Harkaitz having to interfere. If Leonel Gorbea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Fernando Lehen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Sunchal's Baltasar Harkaitz got control of the ball when Fernando Lehen tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Cachiyuyo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sunchal throughout the match.
