NRG-1964's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfred McMichel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eleuterio Matthew took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Bizen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eduardo Sayvion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Gilberto Laurin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Bizen took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eleuterio Matthew. Eleuterio Matthew dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Guido Erdiano's late challenge caught a Gálvez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guido Erdiano helped the player get up and apologised. Guido Erdiano kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. NRG-1964's Eleuterio Matthew played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Sayvion in the 38th minute of play. Eleuterio Matthew showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Bizen in the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Bizen in the 45th minute of play forced NRG-1964's goalkeeper Eleuterio Matthew to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduardo Sayvion made a kick off. NRG-1964's Eleuterio Matthew played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Sayvion in the 51st minute of play. Eleuterio Matthew made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Sayvion in the 53rd minute of play. NRG-1964's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Eduardo Sayvion 55 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Eduardo Sayvion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Bizen got free with Eleuterio Matthew in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. NRG-1964's Eleuterio Matthew proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save NRG-1964 from getting a goal against them. 75 minutes into the match, NRG-1964's goalkeeper Eleuterio Matthew had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Bizen. After 75 minutes, Filomeno Silvino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NRG-1964 and the Gálvez players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gálvez booed when NRG-1964 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Silvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Sayvion couldn't finish the play. Eleuterio Matthew came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Gálvez's Tomas Bizen. But to his dismay, Tomas Bizen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Tomas Bizen sped through NRG-1964's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eleuterio Matthew. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Sayvion in the 90th minute of play forced NRG-1964's goalkeeper Eleuterio Matthew to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Enrique Balesio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Gálvez left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than NRG-1964.
