Joaquin Artizar kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, REAL MADRYN's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Udalaitz came free, but Ciro Ovando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in REAL MADRYN's zone, Ambrosio Udalaitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Ovando came out of the goal and Ambrosio Udalaitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lisandro Janpier struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Ciro Ovando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pumpun. Ciro Ovando didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lisandro Janpier went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 35 minutes into the match, Pumpun's Lisandro Janpier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciro Ovando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ambrosio Udalaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciro Ovando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Udalaitz in the 41st minute of play. Ciro Ovando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Janpier in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half Pumpun were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ambrosio Udalaitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Ciro Ovando made a huge save. When Ambrosio Udalaitz came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Pumpun fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ambrosio Udalaitz couldn't finish the play. Ambrosio Udalaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Ovando having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ambrosio Udalaitz got free with Ciro Ovando in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Pumpun booed when REAL MADRYN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Brais didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciro Ovando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Janpier, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute.
