Marcelino Lains short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Silvio Urritz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 16 minutes into the match, Nirihuao's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Eate came free, but Silvio Urritz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nirihuao's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hector Roano was slow to take the kick. During this time Talleres de Cordoba's players had a chance to rest. Silvio Urritz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Eate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Urbano Peruxu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 35th minute, Jeremias Eate left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Talleres de Cordoba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Silvio Urritz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jeremias Eate showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 39 minute of play. In the 45th minute, Marcelino Lain ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvio Urritz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ermegildo Cordareo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elpidio Elodio came out and tried to block the shot, but Ermegildo Cordareo slotted it home off the left post making it 4-2 in the 61st minute. The supporters of Nirihuao booed when Talleres de Cordoba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Roano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ermegildo Cordareo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Elodio having to interfere. After some careless play in the Nirihuao defense, Jeremias Eate kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvio Urritz. The Nirihuao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvio Urritz should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute, Jeremias Eate got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elpidio Elodio made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Urbano Peruxu sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute Jeremias Eate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Urritz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Eate in the 87th minute of play forced Nirihuao's goalkeeper Silvio Urritz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
