After 42 played minutes Majestic Heavy got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Abaurre. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arsenio Maiorga to make the kick off. If Rogelio Camerino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Anaya got free with Eusebio Avellaneda in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eusebio Avellaneda came out of the goal and Gabriel Anaya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gabriel Anaya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eusebio Avellaneda having to make a save. 93 minutes into the match, Piquillín's Gabriel Anaya sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eusebio Avellaneda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Piquillín's Ermegildo Carlomagno got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
