In the 12th match minute, EL TANO AKD FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sever Buș to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, EL TANO AKD FC's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Emenon came free, but Gogo Uxio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Braulio Oinaz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gogo Uxio. EL TANO AKD FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 23rd minute Victoriano Eufemio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gogo Uxio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orest Čorba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Teo Mede made a huge save. When Dalmacio Unax fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Merlino's protests and gave Dalmacio Unax a yellow card for diving instead. Rodolfo Vedillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Teo Mede tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, EL TANO AKD FC's Orest Čorba dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 44 minutes, Macsen Simmons mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EL TANO AKD FC and the Deportivo Merlino players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gogo Uxio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Eufemio in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Orest Čorba was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, EL TANO AKD FC's Gogo Uxio got control of the ball when Joel Pirmin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miguel Mazuste took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teo Mede. Teo Mede dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, EL TANO AKD FC's Jacinto Ederono got a free kick in the 67th minute. EL TANO AKD FC's Gogo Uxio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Herena in the 69th minute of play. Genaro Godoy kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. EL TANO AKD FC made a substitution. Perfecto Roberto replaced Miguel Mazuste. After 72 played minutes EL TANO AKD FC got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Godoy. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Merlino's zone, Silvano Dolfos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teo Mede came out of the goal and Silvano Dolfos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Deportivo Merlino's Victoriano Eufemio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gogo Uxio. That made the score 2-1 after 79 minutes of play. Dalmacio Unax was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Dalmacio Unax kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. EL TANO AKD FC made a substitution. Erasmo Evarado replaced Rodolfo Vedillo. In the 83rd match minute, Deportivo Merlino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmacio Unax to maneuver through the defense. Teo Mede made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orest Čorba in the 85th minute of play. Godfredo Emenon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Perfecto Roberto kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After 94 played minutes Deportivo Merlino got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Eufemio. In the 96thth minute of the game Orest Čorba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Merlino's Teo Mede was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
