In the 33rd minute Rigoberto Txanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Behe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Narciso Fidencio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lorenzo Rufo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 81 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Beto F.C's zone, Emanuel Gimenez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Fidencio came out of the goal and Emanuel Gimenez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as La Guardia Imperial's Rigoberto Restu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Narciso Fidencio. That made the score 1-3 after 89 minutes of play. If Lázaro Nesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rigoberto Restu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Narciso Fidencio made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded La Guardia Imperial left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Beto F.C.
