Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Flavio Aurken got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Quirós's zone, Clemente Jerrald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elpidio Roano came out of the goal and Clemente Jerrald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Quirós getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Dalmacio Seguinus hit a great ball. Clemente Jerrald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Elpidio Roano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Becca F.C.'s Americo Ovando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elpidio Roano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Quirós's zone, Clemente Jerrald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elpidio Roano came out of the goal and Clemente Jerrald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Clemente Jerrald's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elpidio Roano was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 34th match minute, Quirós was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Evis to maneuver through the defense. Dalmacio Seguinus kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes Quirós got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Lesardo. Clemente Jerrald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Americo Ovando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clemente Jerrald to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Quirós was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Orland to maneuver through the defense. Becca F.C. were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Quirós's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vladimiro Gabon took the corner. In the 59th minute, Roberto Ponc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Braulio Neto was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 65 played minutes Becca F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Eskuin. Roberto Ponc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Braulio Neto made a huge save. Flavio Aurken charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavio Aurken the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th match minute, Quirós was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Aurken to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Ponc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Braulio Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elpidio Roano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Jerrald in the 84th minute of the match. Elpidio Roano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Jerrald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quirós's Elpidio Roano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Americo Ovando in the 93rd minute of play. Elpidio Roano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Jerrald in the 95th minute of the match. During the 96th minute of the match Flavio Aurken completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Flavio Aurken a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 97th minute, Flavio Aurken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Becca F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Quirós had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
