Spectators: 7102 (Terracing: 5328, Seating: 1633, VIP seats: 141) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ricardo Iorio kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the match, POCASPULGAS's goalkeeper Jorge Fidencio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florencio Benat. Jorge Fidencio came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Gimnasia de La Plata's Florencio Benat. But to his dismay, Florencio Benat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Romeo Cibran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Jakue in the 14th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florencio Benat in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Fidencio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Jorge Fidencio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, POCASPULGAS's Salvador Hanni got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the game, Cirilo Jakue cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Romeo Cibran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cirilo Jakue might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeo Cibran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cirilo Jakue ran back to his position shaking his head. Romeo Cibran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Jakue, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Jorge Fidencio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ricardo Iorio succeeded in the game's 41st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciro Ereinotz to make the kick off. When Gimnasia de La Plata's Ricardo Iorio in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Florencio Benat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Fidencio having to interfere. The Gimnasia de La Plata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Florencio Benat struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Jorge Fidencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gimnasia de La Plata. With a little luck, Gimnasia de La Plata's Romeo Cibran got control of the ball when Cirilo Jakue tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jorge Fidencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Iorio in the 81st minute of play. Jorge Fidencio came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Gimnasia de La Plata's Ricardo Iorio. But to his dismay, Ricardo Iorio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. When Gimnasia de La Plata's Ricardo Iorio in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye POCASPULGAS's goalie prevented a goal. Gimnasia de La Plata walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
