POCASPULGAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fausto Veremundo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Gökhun Sargın kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jorge Fidencio. That made the score 2-0 in the 9 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Donato Hats managed to get in a good position for a shot. POCASPULGAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Hats was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Steff Van Eyck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute Cirilo Jakue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steff Van Eyck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th match minute, Nueva Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Abilio to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Ereinotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fausto Veremundo's late challenge caught a POCASPULGAS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Veremundo helped the player get up and apologised. Fausto Veremundo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Fausto Veremundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jorge Fidencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27thth minute of the game Gökhun Sargın who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but POCASPULGAS's Jorge Fidencio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 29 minutes into the match, POCASPULGAS's goal looked a bit too open when Gökhun Sargın came free, but Jorge Fidencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ciro Ereinotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Raul Tano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Fidencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Fidencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökhun Sargın in the 43rd minute of play. A hard shot by Ruperto Geleberto from long distance, 45 minutes into the match, got Jorge Fidencio's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 46th match minute, Nueva Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Sabin to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in POCASPULGAS's zone, Ivan Mendieta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Fidencio came out of the goal and Ivan Mendieta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Nueva Chicago booed when POCASPULGAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Chap didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Gökhun Sargın put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jorge Fidencio. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Ciro Ereinotz took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Steff Van Eyck to make any attempt to save it. If Ivan Mendieta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gökhun Sargın might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Fidencio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gökhun Sargın ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 70 minutes, Fausto Veremundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nueva Chicago's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Veremundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Steff Van Eyck acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 72nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Freddy Roldanillo. In the 77th minute of the match Ruperto Geleberto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Fidencio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Nueva Chicago's Gökhun Sargın in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye POCASPULGAS's goalie prevented a goal. After 82 minutes of play, Nueva Chicago's Gökhun Sargın made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge Fidencio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ivan Mendieta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nueva Chicago made a substitution. Anier Gaitano replaced Gökhun Sargın. Jorge Fidencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Mendieta in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th match minute, Nueva Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Sabin to maneuver through the defense. Nueva Chicago made a substitution. Vinicio Isias replaced Marco Abeitia. Alfonso Sabin kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nueva Chicago fans cheered their team off the field, for while POCASPULGAS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
