After a defensive mix-up in Sin Globito no hay Fiesta's zone, Quim Socho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Eudoxio came out of the goal and Quim Socho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vladimiro Savion was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Timoteo Henric hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sin Globito no hay Fiesta's Melquiades Eudoxio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Remigio in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Quim Socho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melquiades Eudoxio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The despedida fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 85th match minute, despedida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vintila Marinescu to maneuver through the defense. Gilberto Dei took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hernan Macias. despedida's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Aquiles Eleazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto Remigio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded despedida left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sin Globito no hay Fiesta.
