Bartlomiej Lampa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Quico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Azzurro's zone, Cipriano Mon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartlomiej Lampa came out of the goal and Cipriano Mon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Bastian Østebø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Cucullú FC's goalkeeper Prudencio Jerrold had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albino Herensuge. When Albino Herensuge came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Sportivo Azzurro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albino Herensuge couldn't finish the play. 20 minutes into the game, Basilio Brun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cucullú FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sportivo Azzurro the free kick. In the 21st minute, Basilio Brun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bastian Østebø could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Prudencio Jerrold made a huge save. The supporters of Sportivo Azzurro booed when Cucullú FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Tancredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sportivo Azzurro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albino Herensuge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Bastian Østebø came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Sportivo Azzurro fans jumped to their feet. Cucullú FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bastian Østebø in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prudencio Jerrold saved Cucullú FC from getting behind. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Bastian Østebø made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Azzurro's Gaspar Gartzen got a free kick in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, Cucullú FC's Celestino Gerazan got a free kick in the 56th minute. Bartlomiej Lampa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Osoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Sportivo Azzurro's Bartlomiej Lampa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Sportivo Azzurro from getting a goal against them. Sportivo Azzurro's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Marcelino Osoro scored to the left of an out of position Bartlomiej Lampa, making the score, 0-3. Bartlomiej Lampa came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cucullú FC's Cipriano Mon. But to his dismay, Cipriano Mon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Although Sportivo Azzurro had been in control for most of the match, Cucullú FC still came away with the win.
