Candelaria's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Fernan Pepillo scored to the left of an out of position Clodoveo Guerau, making the score, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The referee felt a red card was in order, 53 minutes into the game, when Edgardo Canor put in a rough tackle. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ARRIS! A collision led to ARRIS getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Mateo Hitzeder hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Fermin Cordaryal notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Candelaria's Clodoveo Guerau. Clodoveo Guerau was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luciano Lizar struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Clodoveo Guerau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ARRIS. When Luciano Lizar came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the ARRIS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Lizar couldn't finish the play. In the 81st match minute, Candelaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Astrada to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to ARRIS getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Fermin Cordaryal hit a great ball. Ciro Jatsu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Casado in the 86th minute. The audience was convinced that Luciano Lizar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clodoveo Guerau was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Fermin Cordaryal's late challenge caught a Candelaria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clodoveo Guerau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Pepillo in the 94th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luciano Lizar in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clodoveo Guerau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 97 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Luciano Lizar sped through Candelaria's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Clodoveo Guerau.
