Higinio Betadur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Seber having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Betadur in the 7th minute of play forced Villafañe's goalkeeper Mario Seber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 8 minutes, Mario Jax managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Juventud Pergamino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Jax was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Jonathan Chano managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Villafañe's Epifanio Fidensio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 16 minutes into the match, Villafañe's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Betadur came free, but Mario Seber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Chano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Fidensio, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Jonathan Chano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Fidensio in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22ndth minute of the game Americo Rosalio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villafañe's Mario Seber was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isaias Eutor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Mario Seber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th match minute, Villafañe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Bonadona to maneuver through the defense. Mario Seber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Rosalio in the 38th minute of play. Jonathan Chano came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Villafañe's Ciro Su. But to his dismay, Ciro Su quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The supporters of Villafañe booed when Club Juventud Pergamino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Achyar Irianto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Chano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Su, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Villafañe's Osvaldo Burutzagi suffered a sore thigh after 61 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Achyar Irianto charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Achyar Irianto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Club Juventud Pergamino getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Achyar Irianto hit a great ball. Mario Jax took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mario Seber. Villafañe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Tomás Porfirio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villafañe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Juventud Pergamino the free kick. Tomás Porfirio kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. When Ciro Su came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Villafañe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Su couldn't finish the play. 81 minutes into the match, Villafañe's Ulises Columbo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Club Juventud Pergamino's zone, Ciro Su stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Chano came out of the goal and Ciro Su tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 88 in the game by Americo Rosalio from a close distance when the talented Mario Seber managed to make a qualified save. Villafañe's players were relieved. After having played for 90 minutes, Ciro Su managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villafañe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Su was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Ciro Su notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Club Juventud Pergamino's Jonathan Chano. Jonathan Chano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
