Spectators: 7010 (Terracing: 5410, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ignacio Qwinton kicked off to start the match. Maximo Cefero scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teo Dimo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Teo Dimo came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC's Maximo Cefero. But to his dismay, Maximo Cefero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Victoriano Eutropio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Colón FC booed when AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Donzel didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Maximo Cefero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Qwinton in the 23rd minute of play forced Colón FC's goalkeeper Teo Dimo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elpidio Donzel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Teo Dimo made a huge save. Colón FC's Teo Dimo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Qwinton in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Qwinton in the 33rd minute of play forced Colón FC's goalkeeper Teo Dimo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Elpidio Donzel took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Teo Dimo to make any attempt to save it. Teo Dimo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Qwinton in the 41st minute of the match. After 43 minutes, Zeledon Naelio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC and the Colón FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Naelio to maneuver through the defense. Victoriano Eutropio struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Angelino Salamon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colón FC. Nemesio Ferman hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lázaro Evangelista to make the kick off. Rodrigo Henrico's late challenge caught a Colón FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigo Henrico helped the player get up and apologised. After 52 played minutes AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Henrico. Teo Dimo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Qwinton in the 64th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, AFC's Ignacio Qwinton got a free kick in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Colón FC's zone, Maximo Cefero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teo Dimo came out of the goal and Maximo Cefero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute, Rodrigo Henrico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lázaro Evangelista got free with Angelino Salamon in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zeledon Naelio was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 86th minute, Zeledon Naelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Ignacio Qwinton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
