But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeo Esdras couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Abarca in the 13th minute of play forced Pocket !'s goalkeeper Amado Palben to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Javiero scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amado Palben, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hugo Abarca's late challenge caught a Pocket !'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Abarca helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pocket ! booed when Lonquimay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Abarca didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Hugo Abarca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amado Palben. Pocket !'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugo Abarca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 25th minute, Rafael Camerino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lonquimay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Moises Mogel scored to the left of an out of position German Natanael, making the score, 1-2. Lonquimay's German Natanael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Mogel in the 29th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lonquimay's Denis Justin got a free kick in the 30th minute. Rafael Camerino took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised German Natanael. German Natanael dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. German Natanael was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rafael Camerino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 37 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lonquimay's zone, Asbjørn Kjærvig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. German Natanael came out of the goal and Asbjørn Kjærvig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Lonquimay's Ivan Pasqual got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Asbjørn Kjærvig notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Lonquimay's German Natanael. German Natanael was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. German Natanael was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ovidio Mogel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-2 in the 48 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-2.
