After some careless play in the Halcon FC defense, Matias Aurken kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diego Mambru. The Halcon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diego Mambru should have stopped the shot. Halcon FC's Diego Mambru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Garin in the 48th minute of play.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Siro Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Halcon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Arias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benicio Araoz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Tucuman's Paolo Fernanco got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61stth minute of the game Siro Arias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Tucuman's Benicio Araoz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Halcon FC's goalkeeper Diego Mambru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Camilo Garin. In the 75th match minute, Club Atletico Tucuman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Sasoin to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Camilo Garin could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Diego Mambru however easily saved by the left post. In the 81st minute, Halcon FC's Fausto Estebe seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fausto Estebe the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Halcon FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fausto Estebe had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 80 minutes into the game, one of Halcon FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Halcon FC's attentive Rosendo Abascal managed to snatch the ball when Paolo Fernanco made a throw-in in the 89th minute of the game. Diego Mambru made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Hector Chale sent off a good shot on target. After 91 played minutes Halcon FC got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Itzaina. Camilo Garin came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Diego Mambru could save by the left post. After 97 played minutes Club Atletico Tucuman got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Iturri. The Halcon FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Atletico Tucuman were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
