Dario Tauro hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Santiago Ibon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Baltasar Estefan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Primo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baltasar Estefan having to make a save. After 10 minutes, Gaudencio Eutor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Independiente and the Atego Fútbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of C. A. Independiente:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atego Fútbol Club:s goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Santiago Ibon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atego Fútbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Ibon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baltasar Estefan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Raimundo Lorien fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C. A. Independiente's protests and gave Raimundo Lorien a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Atego Fútbol Club booed when C. A. Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Lorien didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Dario Tauro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Atego Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Esteban Harkaitz hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, C. A. Independiente's Vinicio Lopes tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. C. A. Independiente's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Santiago Ibon 28 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. C. A. Independiente's Baltasar Estefan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Independiente from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute Dante Cordarrol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Medina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. Independiente's goalkeeper Baltasar Estefan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fernan Koldobika received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Baltasar Estefan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dario Tauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Atego Fútbol Club's Santiago Ibon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baltasar Estefan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santiago Ibon to strike the kick off in the second half. Ivan Primo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Estefan having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Santiago Ibon notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of C. A. Independiente's Baltasar Estefan. Baltasar Estefan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the C. A. Independiente defense, Ivan Primo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baltasar Estefan. The C. A. Independiente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baltasar Estefan should have stopped the shot. Atego Fútbol Club's Ivan Primo got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gabriel Medina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Cordarrol, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 66th match minute, C. A. Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Eutor to maneuver through the defense. Baltasar Estefan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Primo in the 69th minute of play. Santiago Ibon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Estefan having to interfere. If Dario Tauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baltasar Estefan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Tauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, C. A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Primo came free, but Baltasar Estefan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Tauro in the 83rd minute of play forced C. A. Independiente's goalkeeper Baltasar Estefan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dario Tauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Baltasar Estefan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, C. A. Independiente's Raimundo Lorien got a free kick in the 95th minute. There was no doubt that Atego Fútbol Club were the better team. Atego Fútbol Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
