Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ciriaco Matxin kicked off to start the match. Concepción's Lino Udalaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Matxin in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Concepción getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Hector Hodei hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Concepción's zone, Ciriaco Matxin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Udalaitz came out of the goal and Ciriaco Matxin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivan Menendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciriaco Matxin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lino Udalaitz having to make a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivan Menendo to make the kick off. Real Boca's Celestino Casomiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Menendo in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Menendo in the 54th minute of play forced Real Boca's goalkeeper Celestino Casomiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Concepción's Ivan Menendo in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ramon Edwardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Concepción's Ivan Menendo in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Boca's goalie prevented a goal. The Concepción fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Concepción's Ivan Menendo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lino Udalaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Sugoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
