Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Generoso Jago in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celestino Casomiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 27 played minutes CA Parque Patricios got a freekick which was hit by Americo Medina. After 37 played minutes Real Boca got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Matxin. 39 minutes into the match, Real Boca's goal looked a bit too open when Generoso Jago came free, but Celestino Casomiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fidel Gaitan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute Generoso Jago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Casomiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Generoso Jago to make the kick off.
