Christian Resto started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Cebo For Ever's Alvaro Galeno got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 3rd minute, Christian Resto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Danilo Abadia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aristides Leguizamón having to make a save. 6 minutes into the match, Cebo For Ever's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Resto came free, but Aristides Leguizamón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cebo For Ever getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Mateo Fonso hit a great ball. Calchaquí's Gregorio Nuñez couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cebo For Ever. Calchaquí's Danilo Abadia got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Christian Resto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Calchaquí fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Danilo Abadia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Resto in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aristides Leguizamón prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ernesto Goren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 28th minute, Maximino Checa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Resto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pascual Orixe's late challenge caught a Calchaquí's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascual Orixe helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 played minutes Calchaquí got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Abadia. In the 39thth minute of the game Christian Resto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cebo For Ever's Aristides Leguizamón was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pascual Orixe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danilo Abadia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Aristides Leguizamón tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gregorio Nuñez was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 46th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After the first half Calchaquí were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pascual Orixe was the one to do the kick off. Cebo For Ever's Aristides Leguizamón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Hanni in the 52nd minute of play. Aristides Leguizamón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Resto in the 60th minute of the match. Christian Resto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Leguizamón having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Aristides Leguizamón successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Aristides Leguizamón was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Danilo Abadia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 66 minute of play. Ernesto Goren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vladimiro Eufemio having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Resto in the 73rd minute of play forced Cebo For Ever's goalkeeper Aristides Leguizamón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Pascual Orixe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Eufemio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Maximino Checa fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
