The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeledon Cuarto got free with Adriana Sabino in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13thth minute of the game Tobias Iturri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but caro y delfy's Victorio Rey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Palomero's Bartolo Abarca got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victorio Rey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Abarca in the 17th minute of the match. Tobias Iturri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Rey having to interfere. Victorio Rey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Abarca in the 20th minute of play. Alfonso Bernaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. When the final whistle sounded Palomero left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than caro y delfy.
