Atlético La Plata's Elvio Eskuin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Aznaro in the 19th minute of play. After some careless play in the Atlético La Plata defense, Claudio Weather kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elvio Eskuin. The Atlético La Plata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elvio Eskuin should have stopped the shot. Francisco Papo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Artaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute of the game Filomeno Paul made a throw-in which Claudio Weather played forward. Fabricio Chesus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Claudio Weather fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Elvio Eskuin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonzo Aznaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Claudio Weather got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. El Gran Cuervo Negro's Claudio Weather got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Roberto Leguizamón dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elvio Eskuin, 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético La Plata's zone, Fabricio Chesus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvio Eskuin came out of the goal and Fabricio Chesus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claudio Weather sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabricio Chesus made a kick off. Elvio Eskuin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudio Weather went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Fabricio Chesus took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elvio Eskuin. Elvio Eskuin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Fabricio Chesus scored 7-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elvio Eskuin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Atlético La Plata's Elvio Eskuin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Weather in the 95th minute of play. After having played for 97 minutes, Claudio Weather managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Gran Cuervo Negro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Weather was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the El Gran Cuervo Negro players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
