Spectators: 7115 (Terracing: 5339, Seating: 1636, VIP seats: 140) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ivan Incendio kicked off to start the match. Jacobo Lertxun came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Romanticos's Ariel Llope. But to his dismay, Ariel Llope quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jacobo Lertxun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Incendio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Romanticos booed when Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Savier didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ivan Incendio fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Romanticos's protests and gave Ivan Incendio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Romanticos getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ivan Incendio hit a great ball. Ivan Incendio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Independiente booed when Romanticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Brais didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Incendio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jacobo Lertxun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Placido Ibon came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Romanticos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Placido Ibon couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Independiente's Nicolas Savier got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 37 minutes, David Hori mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Romanticos and the Independiente players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes Romanticos got a freekick which was hit by David Hori. When Placido Ibon came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Romanticos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Placido Ibon couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the game, Placido Ibon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jacobo Lertxun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ignatius Anton made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Ariel Llope managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romanticos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ariel Llope was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacobo Lertxun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Incendio in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute of the match, Cleto Firman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jacobo Lertxun was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 76th minute of the match, Placido Ibon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jacobo Lertxun saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Independiente's Jacobo Lertxun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Ibon in the 78th minute of play. Jacobo Lertxun made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Ivan Incendio sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Ivan Incendio sped through Independiente's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Lertxun. After 89 minutes, Ivan Incendio made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Independiente's Jacobo Lertxun tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ivan Incendio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Jacobo Lertxun made a huge save. The Independiente fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Romanticos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
