Osvaldo Gilen was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Olavarría booed when Los Guasones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonides Jaunzuria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raul Izel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Baldomiro Perutxo. Los Guasones's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Olavarría's Osvaldo Gilen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Olavarría from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute, Los Guasones's Victorino Dimas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. If Godofredo Elazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute Los Guasones were awarded a corner. Anastasio Tulio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Los Guasones's Anastasio Tulio to fire away a dangerous shot which Osvaldo Gilen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 38th minute, Desiderio Tiadoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Olavarría's Osvaldo Gilen got control of the ball when Victorino Dimas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Los Guasones's Joel Kepa got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonides Jaunzuria was extremely unlucky when he, in the 46th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 49th minute Victorino Dimas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Gilen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, Iker Liher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute, Desiderio Tiadoro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomiro Perutxo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Osvaldo Gilen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Liher in the 63rd minute of play. If Desiderio Tiadoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Olavarría's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Kepa came free, but Osvaldo Gilen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Olavarría's goalkeeper Osvaldo Gilen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Osvaldo Gilen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Kepa in the 74th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Iker Liher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Los Guasones's Baldomiro Perutxo got control of the ball when Pablo Pudes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Godofredo Elazar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Guasones's supporters rose to their feet, but Godofredo Elazar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Los Guasones walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
