In the 3rd minute, Abelardo Txanton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abelardo Txanton scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gregorio Platon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 11 minutes of play, La Fusion's Rolando Endura made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gregorio Platon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Filiberto Martxot was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 16 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in La Fusion fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! Fausto Ibañez walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Severiano Castulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregorio Platon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Txanton in the 25th minute of the match. Ísmael Matafonov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Artemio Sedeni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Severiano Castulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Abelardo Txanton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gregorio Platon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 38th minute, Rolando Endura made a precise shot to the right of Gregorio Platon. Ogilvie's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 41 minutes into the match, Ogilvie's goal looked a bit too open when Biddle Whatman came free, but Gregorio Platon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Abelardo Txanton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gregorio Platon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Gregorio Platon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Txanton in the 47th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Abelardo Txanton made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Rolando Endura made a precise shot to the right of Gregorio Platon. Ogilvie's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. 56 minutes into the match, Baltasar Sotero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artemio Sedeni. La Fusion's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baltasar Sotero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. In the 58th match minute, Ogilvie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Nel to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute of the match, Abelardo Txanton tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gregorio Platon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gregorio Platon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abelardo Txanton showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 61 minute of play. Rolando Endura who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Gregorio Platon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the La Fusion defense, Severiano Castulo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artemio Sedeni. The La Fusion fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artemio Sedeni should have stopped the shot. Severiano Castulo might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Artemio Sedeni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severiano Castulo ran back to his position shaking his head. 84 minutes into the match, Ogilvie's goalkeeper Gregorio Platon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rolando Endura. In the 85th minute, Baltasar Sotero made a precise shot to the right of Artemio Sedeni. La Fusion's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-8. 88 minutes in the game, Rolando Endura fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gregorio Platon having to interfere. Gregorio Platon acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 91st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cecilio Oinatz. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. La Fusion had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
