Thanks to some nice moves Prudencio Sidro could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Reynaldo Piarres however easily saved by the left post. Hilario Javiero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiburcio Nisio's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Gaspar Gorka hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Hilario Javiero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tiburcio Nisio went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Reynaldo Piarres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbano Cambranes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 52nd match minute, Esquina AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Perutxo to maneuver through the defense. Prudencio Sidro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute Esquina AFC were awarded a corner. In the 81st minute Urbano Cambranes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Piarres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nemesio Jurdan succeeded in the game's 89th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2. Esquina AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
