Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rompeculos FC's Adolphe Covington started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Rompeculos FC got a freekick which was hit by Albano Tavio. Nunez Gipuzkoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Huly, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Abelardo Gaztea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Javier Eufrasio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vergara's supporters rose to their feet, but Javier Eufrasio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nunez Gipuzkoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 12 played minutes Rompeculos FC got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Medero. The audience was convinced that Javier Eufrasio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nunez Gipuzkoa was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Ermegildo Gabon struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Nunez Gipuzkoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vergara. Vergara's Feliberto Gabrio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Vergara from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes into the match, Rosendo Felipo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Feliberto Gabrio, 1-0. If Abelardo Gaztea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abelardo Gaztea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Vergara's Aldo Conrao got a free kick in the 31st minute. Ildefonso Reynardo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. When Vergara's Javier Eufrasio in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rompeculos FC's goalie prevented a goal. 37 minutes into the match, Vergara's goalkeeper Feliberto Gabrio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rosendo Felipo. Tobias Medero's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Feliberto Gabrio firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tobias Medero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Feliberto Gabrio came out and tried to block the shot, but Tobias Medero slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 41st minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Javier Eufrasio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Tobias Medero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Feliberto Gabrio. Vergara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tobias Medero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 54th minute Tobias Medero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Gabrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Melquiades Favila notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Vergara's Feliberto Gabrio. Feliberto Gabrio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leo Elazar's late challenge caught a Vergara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leo Elazar helped the player get up and apologised. After 73 minutes of play, Rompeculos FC's Rosendo Felipo made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Feliberto Gabrio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Feliberto Gabrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Medero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feliberto Gabrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Felipo in the 84th minute of play. After 86 minutes of play, Rompeculos FC's Tobias Medero made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Feliberto Gabrio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90th match minute, Vergara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Miro to maneuver through the defense. Adolphe Covington sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Rompeculos FC's Anselmo Timo got a free kick in the 94th minute. Rompeculos FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
