Charlotte Hornets's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Federico Torres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After having played for 19 minutes, Sorin Enescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club A. Excursionistas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sorin Enescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 21 minutes, Amado Llope managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Augustin Halipa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sorin Enescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Benigno Tabor came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Charlotte Hornets's Israel Silviano. But to his dismay, Israel Silviano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Amado Llope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Federico Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Augustin Halipa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Israel Silviano was the one to do the kick off. Augustin Halipa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Federico Torres in the 54th minute. Federico Torres struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Augustin Halipa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club A. Excursionistas. Augustin Halipa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Caetano in the 60th minute of the match. Sorin Enescu kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Evelio Salvino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Club A. Excursionistas getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Honorato Telesforo hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the match, Club A. Excursionistas's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Llope came free, but Benigno Tabor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Federico Torres could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Augustin Halipa however easily saved by the left post.
