Leonel Veremundo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Reconquista AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Urbes came free, but Leonel Veremundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute of the match Forres FC got a corner. Reconquista AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marco Firman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valentin Porfiro went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Reconquista AFC's Leonel Veremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Urbes in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Leonel Jaunzuria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonel Veremundo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adan Gau in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonel Veremundo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The throw-in from Alonzo Galoer in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Reconquista AFC's Enzo Hibai. Lucio Lain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Leonel Veremundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonel Veremundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adan Gau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reconquista AFC were furious when Fulgencio Soin was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 42nd match minute, Reconquista AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Soin to maneuver through the defense. Leonel Veremundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adan Gau, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Jaunzuria in the 44th minute of play forced Reconquista AFC's goalkeeper Leonel Veremundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Urbes took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonel Veremundo. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cesar Gitano made a kick off. Reconquista AFC's Leonel Veremundo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Reconquista AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 55th minute Gonzalo Gaitan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Veremundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Reconquista AFC's goalkeeper Leonel Veremundo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adan Gau. After 75 played minutes Reconquista AFC got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Hibai. Leonel Veremundo made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Leonel Jaunzuria sent off a good shot on target. Ricardo Urbes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leonel Veremundo came out and tried to block the shot, but Ricardo Urbes slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 79th minute. Reconquista AFC's Leonel Veremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Urbes in the 82nd minute of play. Leonel Veremundo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonel Jaunzuria in the 85th minute. But to his dismay, Francisco Salvadore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. After a defensive mix-up in Reconquista AFC's zone, Agustin Perrando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel Veremundo came out of the goal and Agustin Perrando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonel Veremundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Perrando in the 94th minute of the match. When the match was over Forres FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Reconquista AFC throughout the match.
