Club Argentinos Rosario's Jorge Quinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Panpili in the 7th minute of play. In the 16thth minute of the game Angelo Baladi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rodeo's Ernesto Joseph was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Froilan Rexino took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernesto Joseph. Ernesto Joseph dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 20th match minute, Club Argentinos Rosario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Bazil to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes Rodeo got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Aires. Ernesto Joseph didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcial Aztore went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelo Baladi in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Joseph prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 33 minutes, Saul Locaio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Argentinos Rosario and the Rodeo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Club Argentinos Rosario getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Saul Locaio hit a great ball. Ernesto Joseph showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Baladi in the 37th minute of the match. Edelmiro Abajas scored 3-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Quinto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcial Aztore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ernesto Joseph tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Club Argentinos Rosario's Jorge Quinto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Club Argentinos Rosario from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute of the match Saul Locaio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernesto Joseph showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rodeo's zone, Marcial Aztore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Joseph came out of the goal and Marcial Aztore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Club Argentinos Rosario's Angelo Baladi in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rodeo's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Patricio Aires managed to get in a good position for a shot. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Club Argentinos Rosario were victorious despite being under pressure from Rodeo for much of the match.
