Arnoldo Frances showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Darien in the 25th minute of the match. Cirilo Paz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee ignored ZIRO f.c.'s protests and gave Arnaldo Javiero a yellow card for diving instead. Paulo Giraldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Paulo Shepherd came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the ZIRO f.c. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Shepherd couldn't finish the play. Arnoldo Frances made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Cirilo Paz sent off a good shot on target.
