The audience was convinced that Eustaquio Hernandez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Tajo was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Victorino Vela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Eustaquio Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 played minutes Yanimas Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Sugar. Edgardo Sugar kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Edgardo Tulio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rene Quexal during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 59th minute, Hugo Gilabert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octavio Gauargi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Octavio Gauargi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Vela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robles F.C were furious when Ruben Rexino was red carded, 66 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 65 minutes into the game, one of Robles F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Yanimas Futbol Club. Amador Flores stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Octavio Gauargi. 2-1. Octavio Gauargi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Vela, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Robles F.C's Mauro Ekaitz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Samuel Tajo. That made the score 2-2 after 87 minutes of play. In the 91st minute, Eustaquio Hernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 99th minute Edgardo Tulio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Tajo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
