Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Isidoro Ignado started the match with the kick off. Felix Unai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Valente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. If Felix Unai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Unai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Flavio Valente made a huge save. Romulo Abascal took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Valente. Flavio Valente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Marcos Toro kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Felix Unai dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Flavio Valente, 2-0. In the 25th minute, Luis Salvator left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Despeñaderos AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Carmelo Gutierrez hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Berraondo's Flavio Valente got control of the ball when Roque Florin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ciro Macario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Atilano Gorbea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Luis Salvator managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Despeñaderos AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Salvator was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bartolo Gartzi hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Felix Unai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Valente having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Luis Salvator managed to get in a good position for a shot. Despeñaderos AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Salvator was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Valente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Despeñaderos AFC's Luis Salvator suffered a sore thigh after 47 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Fidel James fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Berraondo's protests and gave Fidel James a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Berraondo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Despeñaderos AFC:s goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Felix Unai made the kick off in the second half. Romulo Abascal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Flavio Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciro Macario struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Atilano Gorbea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berraondo. The audience was convinced that Felix Unai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Valente was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clemente Sesuldo during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Berraondo's Clemente Sesuldo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Unai in the 74th minute of play forced Berraondo's goalkeeper Flavio Valente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leopoldo Fero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Flavio Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Unai in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Valente saved Berraondo from getting behind. Leopoldo Fero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Flavio Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Unai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Valente having to make a save. If Felix Unai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Valente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Unai, who was totally free with the ball in the 100th minute. When the referee ended the match the Despeñaderos AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
