Berraondo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bartolo Gartzi kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. When Sainuco FC's Sebastian Xabat in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Xabat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Valente was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Xabat in the 24th minute of play forced Berraondo's goalkeeper Flavio Valente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Valente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Berraondo's zone, Angelino Chano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Valente came out of the goal and Angelino Chano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flavio Valente stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelino Chano's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 43rd match minute, Sainuco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Bertin to maneuver through the defense. Isidoro Ignado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Esteve Polentzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Xabat was the one to do the kick off. Sebastian Xabat did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Flavio Valente 53 minutes into the match. Esteve Polentzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Macario, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. A collision led to Sainuco FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Fabricio Natal hit a great ball. When Ciro Macario came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Berraondo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Macario couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute Sebastian Xabat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Xabat in the 71st minute of play forced Berraondo's goalkeeper Flavio Valente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelino Chano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelino Chano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Flavio Valente made a huge save. In the 77th minute Sebastian Xabat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteve Polentzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Macario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelino Chano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Flavio Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelino Chano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Valente having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Berraondo's goalkeeper Flavio Valente had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelino Chano. If Sebastian Xabat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Clemente Sesuldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sainuco FC's Aldo Gipuzkoa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 98th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Berraondo. When the final whistle sounded Sainuco FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Berraondo.
