Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arturo Sandaili started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Eldorado's Arsenio Cordarin got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Arturo Sandaili blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucio Garaile having to make a save. Lucio Garaile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Marz in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Merceditas FC booed when Eldorado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Frechoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anacleto Luzea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the game, Edgard Vigil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Merceditas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eldorado the free kick. The supporters of Eldorado booed when Merceditas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Vigil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelino Frechoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Fernan Tanio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marcelino Frechoso fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eldorado's protests and gave Marcelino Frechoso a yellow card for diving instead. Arturo Sandaili recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Edgard Vigil didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Uriel Kaiet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eldorado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Merceditas FC the free kick. In the 32nd minute of the match Modesto Felipo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucio Garaile skillfully saved the ball. After 34 minutes of play Eldorado's Arsenio Cordarin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Modesto Felipo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Jimeno Marz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Merceditas FC's zone, Inocencio Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernan Tanio came out of the goal and Inocencio Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Marz in the 45th minute of play forced Eldorado's goalkeeper Lucio Garaile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Eldorado defense, Jimeno Marz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucio Garaile. The Eldorado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucio Garaile should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Inocencio Barros to make the kick off. Jeremias Nesor kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Eldorado's Inocencio Barros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernan Tanio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Jimeno Marz in the 74th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 75th minute, Mario Valentine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Eldorado getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Uriel Kaiet hit a great ball. Jimeno Marz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Garaile having to interfere. Inocencio Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jimeno Marz came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Merceditas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimeno Marz couldn't finish the play. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Eldorado! In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Merceditas FC. Modesto Felipo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lucio Garaile. 0-2. Edgard Vigil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Garaile having to interfere.
