Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cirilo Romano in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaston Gustau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Vela in the 76th minute of play forced Albigasta's goalkeeper Gaston Gustau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cirilo Romano came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Los gurcas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cirilo Romano couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the game, Gonzalo Danel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Albigasta would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
