In the 42nd minute, Icho Cruz's Bartolo Chorache dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Delmiro Argider sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Delmiro Argider was the one to do the kick off. Ubaldo Argoitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1.
