An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Curcio in the 7th minute of play forced Cabildo's goalkeeper Ubaldo Argoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ancaján's Francisco Filipo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Ancaján from getting a goal against them. Ancaján's Francisco Filipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Argider in the 10th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Aurelio Curcio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ancaján's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cabildo the free kick. Aurelio Curcio kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Francisco Filipo made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Gualterio Caradaro sent off a good shot on target. Gonzalo Damario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Filipo having to interfere. Ancaján's Siro Nel suffered a sore thigh after 22 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 22 minutes into the game, Delmiro Argider was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cabildo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ancaján the free kick. After 23 played minutes Cabildo got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Argider. Gonzalo Damario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Francisco Filipo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Cabildo's Zeledon Ireno dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ancaján's Zeledon Baumar got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Delmiro Argider got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Zeledon Ireno fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cabildo's protests and gave Zeledon Ireno a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 played minutes Cabildo got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Ireno. After having played for 44 minutes, Zeledon Baumar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ancaján's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeledon Baumar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th match minute, Cabildo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Ugaitz to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Baumar in the 50th minute of play forced Cabildo's goalkeeper Ubaldo Argoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zeledon Baumar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Gonzalo Damario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57thth minute of the game Delmiro Argider who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ancaján's Francisco Filipo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Cabildo's Delmiro Argider in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ancaján's goalie prevented a goal. Zeledon Ireno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Filipo having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Cabildo's Delmiro Argider nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco Filipo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Zeledon Baumar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ancaján's Eriberto Beltxe got a free kick in the 78th minute. Delmiro Argider might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Filipo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delmiro Argider ran back to his position shaking his head. Cabildo's Delmiro Argider got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Ancaján getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Aurelio Curcio hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Eriberto Beltxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, Zeledon Baumar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ancaján fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Jonas Tonete made in the 91st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Florencio Uxio. In the 92nd minute Leopoldo Galeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Filipo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeledon Baumar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ubaldo Argoitz made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Zeledon Baumar sent off a good shot on target. Cabildo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
