In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Matador Cordobes's goalkeeper Maximo Azevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 15th match minute, Matador Cordobes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Garin to maneuver through the defense. Ceferino Suero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Urko, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Matador Cordobes's Florentino Urko slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ceferino Suero. That made the score 1-1 after 21 minutes of play. Paulito FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Florentino Urko 30 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simon Seber in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximo Azevedo saved Matador Cordobes from getting behind. If Simon Seber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilfredo Cresenciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 played minutes, Paulito FC's Israel Arnalt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maximo Azevedo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paulito FC reached it. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simon Seber made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Matador Cordobes's Baldomiro Mercurio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ceferino Suero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. With his leg Maximo Azevedo managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Paulito FC's Wilfredo Cresenciano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 57 minutes of play, Matador Cordobes's Eriberto Garin made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ceferino Suero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hugo Gines kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Simon Seber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Matador Cordobes's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Seber came free, but Maximo Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Silvestre Berbiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Suero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximo Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Seber in the 70th minute of the match. After 75 played minutes Paulito FC got a freekick which was hit by Israel Arnalt. Ceferino Suero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Corderro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the game, Silvestre Berbiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Ceferino Suero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Israel Artizar was shown his second yellow card after 84 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 85th match minute, Paulito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Artizar to maneuver through the defense. Paulito FC's Ceferino Suero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Urko in the 86th minute of play. Ceferino Suero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Berbiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Maximo Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Seber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximo Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simon Seber's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simon Seber in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximo Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maximo Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Cresenciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Matador Cordobes's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
