In the 13th minute of the match Adrian Louis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Venancio Belmiro skillfully saved the ball. Tadeo Teofilio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Lino Petri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Pelagius in the 17th minute of play forced MUSKA's goalkeeper Venancio Belmiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Hugo Björk could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Venancio Belmiro however easily saved by the left post. Benedicto Monico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Venancio Belmiro made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mateo Otsoa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gaspar Pelagius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Venancio Belmiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, one of MUSKA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MUSKA. The referee gave Club Atletico Tucuman a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gaspar Pelagius, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of MUSKA's Venancio Belmiro. 4-0. MUSKA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Venancio Belmiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaspar Pelagius's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. MUSKA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
