Roman Golembiewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Txema having to interfere. Uriel Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Fagildo in the 14th minute of play. Christian Txema was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Domingos Videl. Casimiro Modestio kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of Manucho booed when Club Atlético Funes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Enekoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aristides Erdiano hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Funes's zone, Lucio Nataniel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Txema came out of the goal and Lucio Nataniel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amadeo Delfino struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Christian Txema didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manucho. A collision led to Club Atlético Funes getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Casimiro Modestio hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Manucho's Lucio Nataniel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Txema narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Amadeo Delfino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Txema read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Manucho's Amadeo Delfino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christian Txema. That made the score 1-0 after 41 minutes of play. Uriel Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Fagildo in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amadeo Delfino to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Roman Golembiewski sped through Club Atlético Funes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Christian Txema. In the 55th match minute, Club Atlético Funes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Modestio to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 57 minutes, Roman Golembiewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manucho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Golembiewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Uriel Veronica made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eustacio Ostots in the 65th minute. Amadeo Delfino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Txema having to interfere. With 69 minutes on the clock, Rodolfo Macario commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Lucio Nataniel placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After 73 minutes of play, Manucho's Amadeo Delfino made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christian Txema was left in no man's land by his defense there! Christian Txema stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amadeo Delfino's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute Evaristo Bartuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Txema saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lucio Nataniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeo Delfino struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Christian Txema didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manucho. 88 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Funes's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Delfino came free, but Christian Txema reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manucho were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Club Atlético Funes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lucio Nataniel took the corner. At last the ball reached Roman Golembiewski at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Club Atlético Funes. 4-0.
