Los Triperos's Neil Pearl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Rexino in the 3rd minute of play. Guillermo Guillem succeeded in the game's 4th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Ostots in the 8th minute of play forced Los Triperos's goalkeeper Neil Pearl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Funes's goalkeeper Christian Txema had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guido Vadalá. Julio Richie hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Guido Vadalá scored 2-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Txema, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jacobo Jerano kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Club Atlético Funes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Guillermo Guillem scored to the left of an out of position Christian Txema, making the score, 3-0. Christian Txema was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Guillermo Guillem showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 27 minute of play. If Guido Vadalá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pablo Flor hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Aldo Enekoitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Neil Pearl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Christian Txema showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Vadalá in the 45th minute of the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Guillermo Guillem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Triperos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Guillem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

51 minutes into the game, Los Triperos's Guido Vadalá nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christian Txema made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Benicio Fagildo's late challenge caught a Los Triperos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benicio Fagildo helped the player get up and apologised. Guillermo Guillem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Txema having to interfere. Guillermo Guillem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Christian Txema tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Segundo Nofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Funes defense, Segundo Nofre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Txema. The Club Atlético Funes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Txema should have stopped the shot. Jimeno Cordearo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Txema having to interfere. Benicio Fagildo was shown his second yellow card after 73 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 74th match minute, Club Atlético Funes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Fagildo to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, Los Triperos's Guido Vadalá sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Txema narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 87 minutes into the game, Guido Vadalá cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Christian Txema was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guillermo Guillem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Txema having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Los Triperos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
