Eustacio Ostots struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Rubén March didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Funes. In the 31st minute Bernabe Lleir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Txema saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesar Matxin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Txema having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesar Matxin was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Funes defense, Cesar Matxin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Txema. The Club Atlético Funes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Txema should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Simón Radowitzky FC booed when Club Atlético Funes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Enekoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evaristo Rexino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 74 minutes, Cesar Matxin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Simón Radowitzky FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesar Matxin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Simón Radowitzky FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Rexino came free, but Rubén March reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th match minute, Simón Radowitzky FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Brais to maneuver through the defense. Rubén March showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Rexino, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute.
