In the 13th minute Victoriano Sandaili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Burni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, MULUK's goalkeeper Amancio Sengrat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erasmo Chuan. If Adolfo Gonchan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carolo Hernandez struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Amancio Sengrat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Virginia AFC. The supporters of MULUK booed when Virginia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo Chuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erasmo Chuan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the game, Victoriano Sandaili was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MULUK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Virginia AFC the free kick. After 25 played minutes MULUK got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Sandaili. After a defensive mix-up in MULUK's zone, Erasmo Chuan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amancio Sengrat came out of the goal and Erasmo Chuan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erasmo Chuan might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amancio Sengrat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erasmo Chuan ran back to his position shaking his head. If Carolo Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erasmo Chuan was the one to do the kick off. Amancio Sengrat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erasmo Chuan went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 57 minutes into the game, Severo Bastiaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MULUK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Virginia AFC the free kick. After 57 played minutes MULUK got a freekick which was hit by Severo Bastiaro. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Carolo Hernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Virginia AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carolo Hernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amancio Sengrat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erasmo Chuan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristo Ralondo during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th minute, one of Virginia AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Virginia AFC. If Carolo Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amancio Sengrat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Chuan in the 74th minute of the match. Erasmo Chuan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amancio Sengrat having to make a save. Carolo Hernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Sengrat having to interfere. With an all-out effort, MULUK's Reynaldo Burni threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Victoriano Sandaili, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Victoriano Sandaili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Erasmo Chuan came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Virginia AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Chuan couldn't finish the play. MULUK's Amancio Sengrat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Hernandez in the 91st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Carolo Hernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Virginia AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carolo Hernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
