Sotelo AFC:s Norino Prats showed great skill when he stopped Benigno Abel:s penalty. 10 minutes into the match, Sotelo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Ignazio came free, but Norino Prats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Club Desamparados MDQ's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arnulfo Quintana fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, Club Desamparados MDQ's Julio Beltxe got control of the ball when Nicolas Sein tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Nicolas Sein put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Beltxe. Norino Prats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Ignazio in the 22nd minute of play. Nicolas Sein kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 34thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Club Desamparados MDQ's keeper Julio Beltxe was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. If Arnulfo Quintana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 44 minutes, Nicolas Sein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sotelo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Sein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Beltxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Quintana in the 45th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulino Emmanuel to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Sotelo AFC booed when Club Desamparados MDQ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Arnulfo Quintana came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Sotelo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnulfo Quintana couldn't finish the play. Justo Osorio struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Norino Prats didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Desamparados MDQ. Club Desamparados MDQ's Julio Beltxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Quintana in the 73rd minute of play. Nicolas Sein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Julio Beltxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Nicolas Sein managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sotelo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Sein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Beltxe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sotelo AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
