When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Augusto Eguen sped through Potrero FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernardo Baudelio. A collision led to Coquimbito FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Arsenio Inko hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Coquimbito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Johnny Strömberg came free, but Prospero Loramendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Coquimbito FC's Prospero Loramendi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Peio in the 31st minute of play. Prospero Loramendi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnny Strömberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The Potrero FC fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Potrero FC's Johnny Strömberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alfredo Weather could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Bernardo Baudelio made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Coquimbito FC's zone, Roman Peio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Loramendi came out of the goal and Roman Peio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Johnny Strömberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Stasio Kosiorek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Loramendi having to interfere. Patricio Firmin got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Coquimbito FC's Augusto Eguen got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 96 minutes, Roman Peio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Potrero FC and the Coquimbito FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roman Peio kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. In the 97th minute Augusto Eguen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Baudelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Potrero FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
