The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stasio Kosiorek might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Israel Frisco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stasio Kosiorek ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johnny Strömberg got free with Israel Frisco in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Johnny Strömberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Frisco having to interfere. If Johnny Strömberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Potrero FC's Johnny Strömberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Israel Frisco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 40 played minutes Stasio Kosiorek rounded LaiguanaCacho's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. With 46 minutes on the clock, David Gârniceanu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 46th minute, one of Potrero FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Potrero FC. The referee gave LaiguanaCacho a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Valentin Domenec, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Potrero FC's Bernardo Baudelio. 4-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardino Llin to strike the kick off in the second half. Israel Frisco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnny Strömberg in the 55th minute of play. Johnny Strömberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Israel Frisco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saul Meder charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saul Meder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Americo Orlo fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After having played for 96 minutes, Stasio Kosiorek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potrero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stasio Kosiorek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Potrero FC's Johnny Strömberg in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LaiguanaCacho's goalie prevented a goal.
