With a left leg Leon Cordarrell saved La Persiana from getting behind. Luisito Federigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Grabiel having to interfere. Arsenio Domenec received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leon Cordarrell came out and tried to block the shot, but Arsenio Domenec slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute, Marcelino Bakar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venancio Grabiel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolas Beat's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Abelardo Domingues hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severo Manni made a kick off. Ulises Olivar charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulises Olivar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes Urizar FC got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Olivar. Leon Cordarrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Manni, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Gonzalo Piarres kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th match minute, Urizar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Olivar to maneuver through the defense. Luisito Federigo struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Venancio Grabiel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Persiana. La Persiana were furious when Indalecio Montiel was red carded, 69 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 69th minute, one of La Persiana:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Persiana. La Persiana's Luisito Federigo got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leon Cordarrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Olivar, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Leon Cordarrell came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Urizar FC's Severo Manni. But to his dismay, Severo Manni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 84th minute Severo Manni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Cordarrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisito Federigo had several of the Urizar FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 87 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Venancio Grabiel as he didn't even see the shot coming. After some careless play in the La Persiana defense, Severo Manni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leon Cordarrell. The La Persiana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leon Cordarrell should have stopped the shot. The supporters of La Persiana booed when Urizar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Bakar didn't get a good kick on the ball.
