Matias Betadur showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Belmiro Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Javier Edorta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute Emanuel Rafe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Edorta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Berdaitz in the 16th minute of play forced c.a.poseidon's goalkeeper Everardo Kepa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Matias Betadur kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Everardo Kepa. Dacas fc's Gilberto Montel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eugenio Araoz, made in the 29th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matias Betadur got free with Everardo Kepa in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emiliano Lartaun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the c.a.poseidon defense, Tomás Haritz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Everardo Kepa. The c.a.poseidon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Everardo Kepa should have stopped the shot. Everardo Kepa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Betadur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulises Berdaitz to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Ulises Berdaitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Everardo Kepa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to c.a.poseidon getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Belmiro Lucas hit a great ball.
